Open Question: What is the proper way to cover mesh over cracks to avoid bumps appearing later when painting?I applied mesh then put sprackling paste (like putty)over the mesh but it gives an uneven appearance to the plaster on the ceiling, leading me to conclude that if I paint it now, you will see uneven areas all over the ceiling where the mesh and putty went on.
