Open Question: I would like to have tiles in my kitchen but have a suspended wooden floor. What would you recommend? My house has a suspended wooden floor. I would like tiles through the kitchen but think that grout might crack because of movement in the floor. Please recommend an alternative option. I have seen tileloc - which we have in our bathroom - but haven't seen a version I like enough to have in my kitchen. If there are alternative kitchen flooring idea's please recommend. Open Question: how to remove bubbles from wallpaper?Open Question: damp patch in new plaster?I bought a 1950s house last yr to renovate. All walls skimmed, including bedroom which was papered, before xmas. Then painted - mist coat & then emulsion. No probs till today. Small triangular damp patch now appeared in window recess in bedroom. It's where window, window sill & wall meet. Stood outside in heavy rain, no leaking gutter. How can I cure it please. Thank you. There is no condensation inside the double glazing or any water on the window or windowsill. Open Question: what can i do about windows measured and fitted to the wrong size?OK i know this is going to be awkward, i had windows fitted about just over 10yrs ago, it's only now when redecorating my apartment and when stripping of the old window facing i have noticed that i can see the outside there is a gap of 2 inch between the frame and the wall, its been packed up with plastic bags and obviously with the facings on it has covered up all the defects, and for the records i stay in a block two up and its not defects that you would observe or notice from outside !! now im starting in the bathroom which is the first window i have noticed but fear the worst when remodelling the other rooms !! do i have any comeback on the builder after this time ?any advice or constructive answers would be of great help !! thanks in advance to all who reply !! Open Question: finish this pattern hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?Open Question: asdffhth finish that pattern :]?Open Question: Please Help, I need design Ideas?Hi, I have a Box Room which is absolutely tiny, I have enough room for a single bed (it's like a bunk bed but without the bottom bunk) with a wardrobe underneath it which takes up half of the space underneath my bed. I also have a little desk type thing where I have my stereo and a few more books and some junk, there is also a little corner book shelf which is crammed full of books and DVD's, which leaves about a meter squared of free space which I need to get on to my bed! I have grown up and my current theme is animals and the jungle, I have magnolia walls and a blue ceiling, I want to completely change the look of it without changing much furniture, I have taken some steps like buying book ends so I can move some of my books on to my two shelves which are above my bed. I am thinking of neutral colours and maybe laminate flooring to make the room look bigger and of course lighter, but what other designs could I consider? Any help is greatly appreciated!
