Open Question: Need help with Feng Shui configuration of my desk?I've been doing some reading on feng shui and how to organize my office. One part that I am struggling with is the placement of my desk within my space. I am a freelance designer and feel that there is definitely something out of whack with how my office is laid out currently. Here is a diagram of my office. http://modsuperstar.ca/wb7 I have pretty much 3 spots to put my large desk in the office. It's also they type of desk you can't really have facing out, with all the cords it's better facing a wall. Spot #1 - Current location, allows me to see the door, but my back is to the window, which is apparently bad. I don't have a wall behind me. Cords and back of computer can be seen walking into the room. Spot #2 - Where I've had my desk for the last year. It leaves me with my back to the door, which is also bad, but does give me a wall to my back. Does hide cords well. Spot #3 - yet to try this. Leaves my desk in line with the door, though with how far out the desk is I would only be partially in line with the door. The door can be seen out of the corner of my eye. I read that having your computer in the southeast corner is good, as well as having a window to your left. Spot 3 seems like a good idea, though I know one of the key rules tends to be not being in line with the door. Any advice would be appreciated.
