Open Question: Can I Staple Underlayment to Floor Leveler?

Subfloor is lower in 2 1'x5' sections by < 1/8" so I was planning to use thinned floor leveler to fill these 1'x5' sections to bring to complete level. My concern is that when I put underlayment on top of these sections will I be able to drive 7/8" chisel point staples in to secure it? Or will the concrete based floor leveler crack, can I even do what I am suggesting here, or do I need to plane the raised OSB down to lower level, raised portion = 7'x4' Lowered Portion = 8'x5'. Someone with some experience in this area would be extremely helpful. Thanks. For Clarification. It is an abrupt drop of <1/8" not a smooth lowering. I will be putting 1/4" 5Ply Birch as underlayment, which being so thin, concerns me if it is not on a solid subfloor. If I can't staple through floor leveler then what "Should" I do. Thanks for the help. Subfloor is OSB and Plywood, hence the slight mismatch in thickness. Not Concrete.

Open Question: My wife and I are remodeling the bathroom and we really want to do it right.?

The bathroom is a full bath but not huge. Like 6x7 but enough room for the tub and shower. We are replacing the old vanity with a very nice antique white vanity and mirror. It's very ornate - almost like a victorian style but we have a ranch home. We don't want the usual "junky" cabinet and mirror from the dept store but I was just wondering if this would be too fancy for a split level ranch home? The rest of the house is decorated in country style? Just wondering what kind of advice anyone may have? Thanks.

Open Question: How much is a can of paint?

Sorry, I've never painted a room before and all I can find on the Behr website and Home Depot website is color samples. I can't seem to find a price anywhere. How many cans would you estimate for a small guest bedroom, sorry I don't have measurements, it's a standard small bedroom that fits a queen bed and one dresser. Do you think the ones with primer mixed in work well or not when covering a very dark existing paint?
