Open Question: How do I install two layers of curtains?I have a large sliding door in our bedroom which I am removing the dated verticle blinds from. What I want to put up is a layer of sheer curtains to allow sunlight in while maintaing privacy, and above that I want heavy curtains I can close to block out the sun. What are my design options?I just bought a mid-century, modern home with a formal living room having a charcoal slate floor with a random pattern. After closing, I moved the area rug in the center of the room to discover a 9' x 12' gap covered by plywood! The mosaic floor is old, worn and custom designed...so matching the design would be nearly impossible. An area rug is okay, but are there any other options?
