Open Question: Why do Puerto Ricans enclose their porches with floor-to-ceiling cage bars?I've noticed that when Puerto Ricans take over an inner city neighborhood with open porch houses, that soon most of the homes are fitted with floor-to-ceiling iron bars that enclose their porches like zoo cages. Is this a crime thing or simply decorative? It can't be cheap to do. Is theft of porch furniture a big enterprise in these neighborhoods? Or are cage houses just a style thing from Puerto Rico? And aren't they afraid to get trapped inside during a fire, especially with so many house fires and burned out buildings in the Puerto Rican neighborhoods? Open Question: shadowing on wall where wood/studs are, is this mold?idk what those things in the wall are called sry. the 2 X 4?s whatever it is there is shadowing coming through the paint and it is occuring wherever the wood is. it is also on the ceiling where they are at the top. its like black shadowy looking, its also in the corner tops of the walls. i wanna make sure that it is what i think before i call the mold inspector. The previous owner put 40 watt incandescents in there and it is way too yellow looking. I want something bright.
