Open Question: I want to repaint my bedroom, what color goes best with the floor/trim (read details)?

my floor is hardwood and its this color: http://www.byoh.com/eucalyptus_flooring.jpg and the trim around the floor / windows / door is dark brown, a little darker than this color: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/56/148515906_555551ffeb.jpg my room's small and cluttered and I'd like a color that won't make it seem even smaller.. It's currently a mint green color, but it looks awful with the brown trim. (like mint chocolate chip ice cream). and the ceiling is white. and so are my curtains.

Open Question: Sleek modern wall hangings?

My place has fairly modern furniture...clean lines. One longish wall is nearly blank (the furniture against the wall is mostly low). I'm looking for something to hang higher up. Maybe 3 paintings (or other items!) I hope the 3 or more items or paintings would have a certain uniformity to them to tie the wall together. Thanks for any ideas.

Open Question: Olive green room with white ceiling...?

I'm no interior designer, so I need some help. I bought a "jade" green colored paint today and it came out darker than I thought. My husband reminded me (after I painted half the room) that the ceiling is all white (drop ceiling, for a finished look in the basement). Now I'm not so sure the dark green will look good with an all white ceiling and white trim. Plus, there won't be much natural light. What are your thoughts of this color, and do you have any suggestions in case I might have to start over... Thanks!

Open Question: What color should I paint my walls if my bedding and curtains are navy & white?

The bedding is a navy/white combo of different patterns (its Issac Mizrahi Targart set). The curtains are mostly white with navy print. I have small black bookcases, black picture frames, and some black metal accessories (like a mirror, nightstand, and piece of artwork) in the room. I don't know what color would work well with the navy and black for the walls. I don't want anything bold, but I'm tired of the white (i think its got a slightly peach tone to it).

Open Question: wall paint/texture sprayer gun question?

I want to put orange peel texture on my walls, then paint them. I know I can buy textured paint (with the sand in it) and roll it on.....doing both in one step. But I would prefer to use a sprayer or gun. Can a gun/sprayer be used with textured paint, or if you use one of these do you have to do them separately?

Open Question: What color towels/bathmat/accessories should I pair with this shower curtain?

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10909522 This is for a guest bathroom, so it will be seen by many people. I want a bit of color with it rather than a dark, drab bathroom. We live in Korea where the walls and floors of the bathrooms are completely tile (white & black in ours) so walls cannot be painted; the bathrooms are all relatively small so no plants and what not (I've gotten that suggestion many times). Thanks for any/all help!
